BRS methodology
How the BRS readiness model works
BRS separates readiness score, readiness band, trust-state status, and evidence-review eligibility.
Score, band, and trust state are separate
Readiness Score
Your BRS Deal Readiness Score helps show how ready your profile appears based on the information provided through BRS.
Readiness Band
Your readiness band helps summarise your current readiness level and where you may need to improve.
Trust State
Your trust state shows whether the profile is not assessed, self-assessed, under review, or Evidence-Confirmed.
Evidence-Review Eligibility
Your score is currently 80% or above, so you may be eligible to start evidence review. Evidence-Confirmed is only available after eligible supporting evidence has been reviewed against the BRS readiness standard.
The four trust states
No completed BRS readiness profile has been submitted yet.
This profile has not completed the BRS readiness assessment. It does not yet have a BRS Deal Readiness Score, readiness band, or evidence-review status.
The profile is based on readiness information submitted by the user.
The user has completed a BRS Readiness Profile and may have a BRS Deal Readiness Score, readiness band, gaps, and next steps. Supporting evidence has not yet been confirmed through eligible human review.
Supporting evidence has been submitted and is being reviewed.
Evidence has been submitted for an eligible evidence-review product. The profile is under review against the BRS readiness standard. This state does not mean the evidence has passed review.
Supporting evidence has been reviewed against the BRS readiness standard.
Evidence-Confirmed means supporting evidence has been reviewed against the BRS readiness standard through eligible human review. It does not mean due diligence has been completed, the buyer or seller has been approved, the business has been quality endorsed, investment advice has been given, or a transaction outcome is guaranteed.
Evidence-review eligibility: 80%+
Your score is currently 80% or above, so you may be eligible to start evidence review. Evidence-Confirmed is only available after eligible supporting evidence has been reviewed against the BRS readiness standard.
Raw evidence is restricted by default
Raw evidence is restricted by default. Counterparties, brokers, partners, and Partner Admins do not receive raw evidence unless product rules and permissions explicitly allow it.
Evidence-Confirmed
Evidence-Confirmed means supporting evidence has been reviewed against the BRS readiness standard. It is not due diligence, investment advice, approval, quality endorsement, or a guarantee of transaction success.
